The DSB-214SM Surface Mounted Karp Access Door is a surface mounted door that does not require framing, bracing or notching and cutting of inner wall obstructions. Single piece construction of the frame prevents the unit from racking and allows the access door to sit perfectly within the frame and to open to 175 degrees.

Construction Information

• On door sizes of 12" x12" and smaller, door and frame shall be 16 gauge steel (or if specified, stainless steel). On larger sizes, door and frame shall be 14 gauge steel (or if specified, stainless steel).
• Trim shall be one piece construction
• Hinge shall be exposed continuous piano hinge.
• Locks shall be flush and screwdriver operated with stainless steel cam and studs, or shall be key operated with cylinder lock with automatic dust shutter.
• Finish shall be prime coat of rust inhibitive electrostatic powder, painted white.
