RDW Recessed Karp Access Door

The face of the door on the Karp RDW Recessed Access Door is recessed to receive a panel of drywall to provide a drywall finish on the door to match the texture of surrounding drywall. The door frame includes a drywall bead so that drywall cement can be applied to conceal flange.

Specifications

  • Frame is 14 gauge steel and doors are 16 gauge steel.
  • Door is recessed 1"
  • Trim is galvanized steel dry wall bead.
  • Hinge is a concealed pivoting rod type.
  • Locks are flush and screwdriver operated with stainless steel cam and studs, or a key operated cylinder lock with automatic dust shutter.
  • Finish shall be prime coat of rust inhibitive electrostatic powder, painted white.
