An upward swinging access panel, the FD2CI Series door swings into the ceiling recess. It is designed without the use of springs, allowing easier access through the door opening.

• Materials: Satin finish galvannealed steel or 304 stainless steel
• Frame: 16 gauge. Depth: 3-1/2"
• Flange: 7/8" wide. Overall width: 1-1/2"
• Door Panel: 18 gauge with 22 gauge liner and interior lifting handle
• Insulation: The door panel contains 1-1/2" of high temperature insulation material
• Finishes: Rust-inhibitive off-white prime coat or a #4 polished stainless steel finish on exterior surface
• Hinges: Concealed continuous piano hinges allows the door panel to open into a vertical position.  The hinge is placed on the "H" dimension
• Panel Closer: The design allows the door panel to be self closing by gravity, and latches the door from an open position, as required by NFPA80
• Latch: The standard factory installed latch is a flush mount 1/4" allen key.  The interior latch release is standard on doors.
